The Back Alley Gallery was born out of a simple desire to spend more time creating. It has become a catalyst to bring together creatives, art professionals, and the community. Mary's garage turned studio has evolved into a place where artists can meet to discuss their artistic practice, create art and give or take workshops. An exhibition space is included that highlights local artist’s work through a series of rotating exhibitions. From the artist's perspective, it's a fun, accessible place which serves as an inspiration to explore creativity and build confidence often leading to their first gallery showing. It is also a place for more experienced artists to present workshops and to promote connection between fellow artists as well as also show and sell their art in the gallery. For the community, it is a welcome space to experience art through our gallery shows, meet artists, and explore their own creativity through the workshops. Art for all is necessary and vital.

Whether you’re working on your latest project or just want to soak up some inspiration, our studio is the perfect place to be. Come by, get creative, and meet fellow artists in a relaxed and friendly environment. I will post here if Open Studio is cancelled on any Friday.

November 30 show is an opportunity to drop in for some interesting conversation, amazing art and yummy treats. We've got art from 18 local artists. Show will be hanging until January 6. The perfect piece of art makes a lovely gift (maybe even a gift for yourself!)
